Back to the boring routine after the holiday break,&nbsp; the weather here is bleak- and all the funstuff seems months away!! Hint to Green Day- hurry up and anounce the tour-at least then will have something to look forward to!!<br /><br />Also- am back on the diet- which is why I am currently working my way through a packet of cookies while I type!! Nothing like a diet to ensure I overindulge!!<br /><br />Ugh- cant even think of anything to write!! haha! am such a ray of light today!</p><p>mmmmmm give up! will be back when I stop being grumpy! haha!</p> urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:mother_fran:1181 another year passes..... 2008-12-31T11:41:05Z 2008-12-31T11:41:05Z <p><br /><u><span style="font-size: medium"><strong>2008 highlights.....</strong></span></u></p><p><span style="font-size: medium"><strong>foxboro hottubs- oh my how I love this band-has definately been my album of the year- and the whole tour thing was great to follow, even tho I only lived through it vicariously!They also led me to another highlight.....</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium"><strong>making loads of new friends via various green day fansites!! Have been a lurker on green day fansites for years- but this year finally braved talking to people and have made lots of wonderful new friends who share my obsession and much else besides- wish I had done it sooner!<br /><br />finally suceeded in losing my baby weight- well he is 5 now so was about time really! Lost 35lbs and so far have kept it off -so am proud of myself for that- and is partly due to.....<br /><br />getting a dog! something i had wanted to do for a few years since lost my last dog- got Albie- a springer spaniel pup in september and he is great and all the walking has helped keep the weight off!</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium"><strong>watching the kids continue to grow- they are both wonderfully eccentric just like their mum!!<br /></strong></span></p><br /><span style="font-size: medium"><u>Looking forward to 2009 for......<br /></u><br />GREEN DAY GREEN DAY GREEN DAY GREEN DAY GREEN DAY GREEN DAY!!<br /><br />plus hopefully meeting up with friends at GD gigs,<br />not quite so looking forward to being the mother of a teenager half way through the year tho!! Am married- (to a drummer!), and have 2 great but annoying children!! I also play in a couple of bands-just for fun these days-but back in my freedom days did a lot of touring-which is a great way to see europe-as long as you don't mind sharing a smelly tour bus with a bunch of drunk men!! <br />Currently am an at home mum- still waiting to find the career for me- and still waiting to feel like a proper grown-up! Never gonna happen! <br />I am overly addicted to Green Day, and have been since I was 21! Just love them! Am desperate for the new album, and news of the new album, and new of news of the new album-etc etc! and of course the acompanying tour- saving all my pennies in my Green Day fund- looking forward to 2009! Also looking forward to seeing many of my new found internet buddies during the tour- this past few months has been a revelation to me-have met some lovely people from the select world of GD fans- what a bunch of f***ing nutters we all are-and how at home I feel amongst you all! so thanks!! <br />mmmmm- that will have to do for now! am out of anything to say-but am sure that wont last! <br />do you say bye on these things?????? will have to look at other peoples and figure out the ettiquette!!
